Lina and Cassie are over the moon when Mrs. Almed asks them to watch her guinea pig while she's on holiday. But things get out of control quickly when the pampered Princess Gina arrives: she seems to randomly turn invisible! There's nothing about invisibility in the lengthy list of instructions Mrs Almed left behind, so the girls are reduced to chasing her all around the house.
On top of that, Gust is jealous that another pet is taking all the girls' attention. But once he's reassured that Lina and Cassie still love him, he helps to solve the puzzle of the disappearing Gina.
The girls discover that Gina disappears whenever she's not touching the colour purple -- and luckily, Gina's accidental fall into a bucket of dye has turned her purple! Mrs Almed is overjoyed with the makeover, and the girls can call this another job well done.
Fun, fast-paced and whimsical, this next instalment in the Pet Sitters series is a delight. As always, the girls' honesty and commitment to being the best pet sitters they can is a great example. They have a long way to go -- but they're on the right track!
